Coriander Chutney

Ingredients
  • 1 bunch of fresh coriander
  • ½ thumb sized piece of ginger
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin (jeera) seeds
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 - 4 tbsp water
Method
  1. Peel your ginger, I used half of the piece shown in the photo. Roughly chop the coriander (so it's easier to blend) then add all of the listed ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Add extra water, one tablespoon at a time, if you feel the chutney is too thick. It should neither be too thick not too runny as the taste will otherwise become diluted.
  3. Enjoy with your favourite snacks.
